Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR), 42-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Knappa upgrades its record to 20-7 on the campaign. The Loggers host Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 29. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 23-3. Nestucca won 34-33 in their recent non-league bout against Colton (Colton, OR)
