The Wellsville Lions (Wellsville, NY) basketball felled the host Le Roy Oatkan Knights (Le Roy, NY), 51-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Hornell (Hornell, NY). The Red Raiders go into the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Hornell thwarted Livonia (Livonia, NY), 61-53, in a league test.
The Oatkan Knights now own a 16-6 record.
