The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) and the visiting Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC), saw Hillcrest's lacrosse team nudge Spring Valley by a margin of 14-13.
The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville (Greenville, SC). The Red Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Greenville edged Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC), 13-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clover (Clover, SC). The Blue Eagles enter the 5A Upper District 3 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Clover edged Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC), 10-7, in a league challenge.
