Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX), 17-7 in a league battle.

The Eagles now have a 1-0 record.

Next up, the Tigers play the Hebron Hawks (Carrollton, TX) in a non-league match, on Sunday, February 25. Stony Point will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks go into the match with a 1-0 record after their 20-7 non-league win over Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX).
