Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA), 16-1 in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bella Vista for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 27. Whitney will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, February 28. Rio Americano will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
