Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nogales for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24.

With the loss, Agua Fria falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Owls host American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27.
