The Bowie Pirates routed the host Waskom Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 18-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Leopards go into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Liberty-Eylau was routed by Bowie (Simms, TX), 6-4, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Arp for a 3A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, March 8.
