The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), saw Tuloso-Midway's softball squad nip Calhoun by a count of 7-4.

The Warriors & Cherokees now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league match on Saturday, February 24. Tuloso-Midway will face a Flyers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Royse City (Royse City, TX). The Flyers record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Calhoun falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Sandcrabs travel to Bay City (Bay City, TX) to face the Blackcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. The Blackcats enter the match with a record of 6-7. Bay City lost 7-2 in their recent non-league match against El Campo (El Campo, TX)
