Charles Henderson Trojans (Troy, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting LAMP Golden Tigers (Montgomery, AL), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pike County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. Charles Henderson will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, LAMP falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Golden tigers travel to Goshen (Goshen, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Goshen won 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Charles Henderson (Troy, AL)
