The Snyder Tigers got by the visiting Cleburne Yellowjackets softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Cooper was edged by Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Seguin for a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, February 27. Cleburne will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Molina (Dallas, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.
