Texas High School Softball - Summer Creek gets by Grand Oaks

The Summer Creek Bulldogs got by the host Grand Oaks Grizzlies softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX). The Pioneers go into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Iowa Colony was edged by Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
The Grizzlies now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Willis for a 6A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, February 27. Grand Oaks will meet a Wildkats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX). The Wildkats record now stands at 5-6.
