The Groveton Indians softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Tatum Eagles to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Groveton moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Indians host Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, March 1. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-2. Bruceville-Eddy lost 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 29. Tatum will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Lobos come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 16-11 non-league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, TX).
