The Walnut Grove Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Hebron Hawks to 3 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Walnut Grove improves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Trail Blazers in a 5A Region II District 10 game on Tuesday, February 27. The Trail Blazers come into the game with a record of 4-1. Lebanon Trail 5-5 in their recent non-league game against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX)

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 29. Hebron will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a 3-10 record after their 3-2 league loss to Seguin (Arlington, TX).
