Texas High School Softball - Juarez-Lincoln bounces Hidalgo

The Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX) softball routed the host Hidalgo Pirates (Hidalgo, TX), 14-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Huskies (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX). The Patriots go into the 5A Region IV District 30 bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Mission Veterans Memorial notched a victory over Port Isabel (Port Isabel, TX), 16-7, in a non-league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grulla for a 4A Region IV District 32 bout on Tuesday, March 5. Hidalgo will confront a Gators squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Roma (Roma, TX). The Gators record now stands at 1-3.
