The Madison Mavericks softball team (San Antonio, TX), was routed 10-0 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX)

Coming up next, the Broncos encounter the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 test, on Tuesday, February 27. Lake Belton will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Tigers enter the test with a 3-2 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX).

The Mavericks (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Broncos enter the 6A Region IV District 28 test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Brandeis was routed by Holmes (San Antonio, TX), 15-5, in a non-league test.
