The Lake Creek Lions softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Willis Wildkats to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lake Creek moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Lions host College Station (College Station, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, February 27. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 11-3. College Station lost 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX)

In their next game, the Wildkats play the Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 game, on Tuesday, February 27. Willis will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Summer Creek (Houston, TX).
