The Rio Hondo Bobcats softball team (Rio Hondo, TX), was routed 4-1 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX)

Coming up next, the Lobos encounter the Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 test, on Tuesday, February 27. Lopez will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to La Joya (La Joya, TX).

The Bobcats (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Mission (Mission, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Mission was routed by Palmview (La Joya, TX), 8-3, in a non-league test.
