Manor New Tech (Manor, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Savio Eagles (Austin, TX), 17-5 in a non-league challenge.

The now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hyde Park for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. Manor New Tech will face a Panthers squad coming off a 17-6 non-league win over McNeil (Austin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Savio falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Providence Catholic (San Antonio, TX) to face the Provets in a TAPPS Division II District 3 challenge on Monday, March 4. The Provets enter the challenge with a record of 6-5.
