McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenville for a 5A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, March 5.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 24. Southlake Carroll will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX).
