The Waxahachie Indians softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Nimitz Vikings to 9 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Waxahachie moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Indians host Grandview (Grandview, TX) to play the Zebras in a non-league game on Thursday, February 29. The Zebras come into the game with a record of 2-1. Grandview lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Robinson (Robinson, TX)

In their next game, the Vikings play the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 game, on Tuesday, February 27. Nimitz will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-9 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Kaufman (Kaufman, TX).
