The Salem Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Perry Central Bulldogs to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Salem improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS) to clash with the Aggies in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 27. The Aggies come into the game with a record of 2-2. Forrest County Agricultural lost 20-11 in their recent non-league game against Salem (Tylertown, MS)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the East Marion Eagles (Columbia, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 26. Perry Central will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
