The Warriors now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairhope for a non-league match on Saturday, February 24. Thompson will face a Pirates squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Russellville falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Golden tigers host Hatton (Town Creek, AL) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 0-1. Hatton lost 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Thompson (Alabaster, AL)
