Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cypress Creek for a 6A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. Stratford will face a Cougars squad coming off a 13-4 league loss to Memorial (Houston, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Splendora falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bridge City (Bridge City, TX) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Bridge City won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX)
