In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Byron Nelson Bobcat baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Allen Eagles.
The Bobcat (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Lone Star nudged Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX), 6-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles play the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 27. Allen will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
