The Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) baseball trounced the host West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), 17-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Greenwave now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Highland Tech for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 26. Ashbrook will clash with a Rams team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, West Charlotte drops to 0-1 on the year. The Lions host Berry (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 27. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Berry lost 15-4 in their recent non-league test against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
