North Carolina High School Baseball - Manteo edges Perquimans

February 24, 2025: Manteo, NC 27954

In Monday's non-league game, the host Manteo Redskins baseball team scored a close 3-0 win over the Perquimans Pirates.

The Redskins (1-0) will now prepare for their game against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, American Leadership Academy-Johnston nudged Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC), 18-1, in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 26. Perquimans will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC).
