The Elk Mound Mounders basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Bloomer Blackhawks to 67 in the Mounders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Mounders now possess a 19-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mondovi for a Dunn-St. Croix game on Thursday, February 27. Elk Mound will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 51-47 league loss to Colfax (Colfax, WI). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-18.
With the loss, Bloomer falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Colby (Colby, WI) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 8-10.
