The Kalkaska Blazers (Kalkaska, MI) basketball were winner over the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 72-52 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Blazers now possess a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Cheboygan for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26. Kalkaska will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 54-46 league loss to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 13-9.
With the loss, Sault Area falls to 4-19 on the campaign.
