The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA) basketball toppled the host Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA), 50-41 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Fighting Blue Jays now possess a 23-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ouachita Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27. St. Edmund will play a Eagles team coming off a 59-38 non-league win over Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 26-3.
With the loss, Covenant Christian Academy falls to 15-11 on the campaign.
