New York High School Basketball - Port Jervis holds off Washingtonville

The Port Jervis Raiders basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Washingtonville Wizards to 38 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Raiders now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Monticello for a Section 9 Orange County III game on Tuesday, February 25. Port Jervis will confront a Panthers team coming off a 57-24 non-league loss to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-18.
With the loss, Washingtonville falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Wizards travel to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY) to confront the Warriors in a Section 9 Orange County II game on Wednesday, February 26. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 7-11.
