The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA) and the visiting Smith Vo-Tech Vikings (Northampton, MA), observed Winthrop's basketball team knock off Smith Vo-Tech by a score of 51-32.

The Vikings (8-13) will now prepare for their bout against Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 11-3 record. In their last bout, Northbridge achieved victory over Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA), 53-28, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Smith Vo-Tech falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Cape Cod RVT (Harwich, MA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Cape Cod RVT won 34-33 in their recent non-league bout against Sturgis West (Hyannis, MA)
