California High School Baseball - Canyon edges Taft

In Monday's non-league game, the host Canyon Cowboys baseball team scored a close 7-4 win over the Taft Toreadors.
The Cowboys (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Royal (Simi Valley, CA). The Highlanders go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Royal nudged Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA), 4-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Toreadors play the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 26. Taft will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Grizzlies go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 15-10 non-league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA).
