The Perquimans Pirates baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Manteo Redskins to 3 in the Pirates non-league win on Monday.

The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Holmes was overwhelmed by Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC), 4-3, in a non-league game.
