In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Ruston Bearcats baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Airline Vikings.
The Bearcats (5-3) will now prepare for their game against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs go into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, University Lab was overwhelmed by Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA), 10-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Vikings play the Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 26. Airline will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Crimson Tide come into the match with a 7-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Lakeside (Sibley, LA).
