The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) and the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), saw Amory's baseball team get by New Hope by a tally of 6-5.

The Panthers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against New Site (New Site, MS). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, New Site got by Belmont (Belmont, MS), 13-2, in a non-league contest.

The Trojans now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Itawamba Agricultural for a non-league contest on Friday, February 27. New Hope will confront a Indians squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton, AL). The Indians record now stands at 2-5.
