The Refugio Bobcats triumphed over the host Mathis Pirates baseball squad by a score of 20-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Bobcats encounter the Stockdale Brahmas (Stockdale, TX) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 26. Refugio will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Brahmas enter the outing with a 4-4 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX).

The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Aggies go into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Poteet was overwhelmed by John Paul II (New Braunfels, TX), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
