The Alexander Cougars soccer team scored 11 points and limited the host Lithia Springs Lions to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Cougars face the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, March 1. Alexander will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Catamounts enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Rome (Rome, GA).
The Lions now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson for a AAAAA Region 6 contest on Wednesday, March 2. Lithia Springs will face a Jaguars team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Drew Charter School Senior Academy (Atlanta, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-1.
