Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Richmond County Technical Career Magnet Tigers (Augusta, GA), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) in a AA Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 3. Oglethorpe County will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 8-0 league win over Johnson (Augusta, GA).

The Tigers now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a AA Region 4 challenge on Thursday, March 10.
