With the triumph, Alameda improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Redwood (Larkspur, CA) to clash with the Giants in a non-league game on Saturday, March 5. The Giants come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Gauchos clash with the Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 28. El Cerrito will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 19-4 non-league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA).
