In Friday's non-league contest, the Clear Springs Chargers (League City, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), by a margin of 10-4.

With the triumph, Clear Springs moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 26. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 8-2. Calallen won 10-3 in their recent non-league contest against Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX)
