In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Navarro Panthers softball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Canyon Cougars.

Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 4. Navarro will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the outing with a 0-5 record after their 14-1 league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX).

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league outing with a 3-8 record.
