Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lyford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26.

With the loss, Donna North falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Weslaco (Weslaco, TX) to face the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 32 challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Weslaco won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX)
