The Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX) softball routed the visiting Ingram Moore Warriors (Ingram, TX), 14-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Longhorns (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Medina (Medina, TX). The Bobcats go into the 1A Region IV District 28 bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Medina was routed by Comfort (Comfort, TX), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host D'Hanis for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 1. Ingram Moore will confront a Cowboys squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-0.
