The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) and the host Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX), saw Royse City's softball squad nip Marshall by a count of 8-4.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wylie East for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 1.
With the loss, Marshall falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to White Oak (White Oak, TX) to face the Roughnecks in a non-league match on Friday, February 25. The Roughnecks enter the match with a record of 2-1.
