The Sunnyslope Vikings softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Mohave Accelerated Patriots to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Sunnyslope improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Page (Page, AZ) to clash with the Sand Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, February 26. The Sand Devils come into the game with a record of 1-1. Page won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Parker Broncs (Parker, AZ) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 7. Mohave Accelerated will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Broncs come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ).
