The Round Valley Elks softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Safford Bulldogs to 1 in the Elks non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Round Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Elks host Show Low (Show Low, AZ) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 1. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 2. Safford will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
