In Saturday's non-league game, the host Corpus Christi Moody Trojans baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Edinburg North Cougars.
The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Titans go into the 5A Region IV District 29 game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Victoria East tipped Navarro (Geronimo, TX), 5-3, in a non-league game.
