The Gonzales Apaches baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Wharton Tigers to 2 in the Apaches non-league victory on Saturday.
The Apaches (3-1) will now prepare for their match against San Antonio HomeSchool (San Antonio, TX). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, San Antonio HomeSchool was edged by Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX), 4-2, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Leopards go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Van Vleck was edged by Brazosport (Freeport, TX), 19-3, in a non-league match.
