Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Waller Bulldogs (Waller, TX) and the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), saw Waller's baseball squad edge Morton Ranch by a margin of 3-2.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 2. Waller will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
The Mavericks now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Paetow for a 6A Region III District 19 battle on Tuesday, February 28. Morton Ranch will play a Panthers squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
