Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN), 64-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Daniel Boone upgrades its record to 15-17 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to play the Smoky Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 28. The Smoky Bears come into the bout with a record of 13-11. Sevier County won 66-45 in their recent non-league bout against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN)
